And, if you want the chance to see what making a traditional pizza is all about, you can do it sitting at our “pizza-bar”!
It’s more or less the same thing as a japanese sushi bar where the sushi master will prepare specials right in front of you. This is what our expert pizzaiolo will do whilst you’ll sit there and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s also perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with friends!

We are very proud to serve you the perfect Pizza Napoletana, made by our experienced Neapoletan Pizzaioli using the traditional method that makes it so special and famous all over the world. It means fresh dough prepared two days in advance for the perfect levitation, only the best flours and ingredients for the base and the toppings, and always freshly made mozzarella. The pizzas cook to perfection in our unique wood-fired oven, built in Napoli and shipped all the way to Manly for us.

Lavorazione a pietra – Stone ground flour (+3$)
We use additive-free and all-natural flours that are slowly milled for optimal water absorption and superior yield for all of our pizzas. You can now order our pizzas in a special Stone Ground flour option rather than the traditional “OO” flour. With this method, grains are gently milled, being ground slowly between two stones without reaching high temperatures. This kind of milling retains a much bigger amount of vitamins and nutrients that are present in two parts of the grain, the bran and the germ. For this reason, stone ground flours are rich in fibres, proteins and vitamins that are vital in maintaining a healthy digestive system.

Pizzas can be ordered on gluten-free base (round size only). Please note that we cannot guarantee that dishes will be 100% gluten-free as all pizzas are prepared in the same environment.

MASSERIA FRATTASI
Here at deVita you will be able to taste wines from one of the best wineries in Italy, exclusively imported by us. The Sannio Caudino area, near the Taburno mountain, has been cultivated for centuries dating back to the Roman Empire. It’s from 1779 that Pasquale Clemente’s family has continuously produced wines with some of the oldest techniques and without damaging the soil with chemicals or intensive production. The plants have a density of only seven per hectare and allow a production of 70 precious quintals per hectare. The old techniques used at Masseria Frattasi include the late harvesting and the “appassimento” that has been invented by the Romans and used later on for the very famous Amarone.

We are very proud to serve you the perfect Pizza Napoletana, made by our experienced Neapoletan Pizzaioli using the traditional method that makes it so special and famous all over the world. It means fresh dough prepared two days in advance for the perfect levitation, only the best flours and ingredients for the base and the toppings, and always freshly made mozzarella. The pizzas cook to perfection in our unique wood-fired oven, built in Napoli and shipped all the way to Manly for us.

Lavorazione a pietra – Stone ground flour (+3$)
We use additive-free and all-natural flours that are slowly milled for optimal water absorption and superior yield for all of our pizzas. You can now order our pizzas in a special Stone Ground flour option rather than the traditional “OO” flour. With this method, grains are gently milled, being ground slowly between two stones without reaching high temperatures. This kind of milling retains a much bigger amount of vitamins and nutrients that are present in two parts of the grain, the bran and the germ. For this reason, stone ground flours are rich in fibres, proteins and vitamins that are vital in maintaining a healthy digestive system.

Delicious!!! I had a pizza delivered. I've been spoiled by lots of thin crust wood fired pizza in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here in the Sydney area, I've found options that come close but somehow don't "wow" me. For instance, Italian Street Kitchen looks the part, but ultimately is meh. This place however is the real deal. I love that the pizzas are charred here and there and are not perfectly round. Very authentic. Also, just so freaking good. I can't wait to try other ones. One request though...I'm missing one particular pizza from SF-it's a white pizza with browned butter and fried sage (extra sage please). They gave the 4 girls a table to themselves, even though COVID restrictions were tight at the time. Tables were well spaced out when many other restaurants weren't following distancing rules. I love wood fired pizza so ordered a Capricciosa Pizza. I didn't pre-order so had a 20 minute wait.
